Consider the differences between work and faith.
Where my faith focuses on almighty God, work is drawn to the almighty dollar.
Where my faith tells me to think first of others, my work sends the signal that only the selfish get promoted.
Where my faith tells me to walk humbly with my God, work tells me to take credit for all my good works (and maybe even some extra works that aren’t mine).
Where my faith tells me relationships are the only thing I will take into the next world, work demands I focus on the task at hand and worry about the people around me later, if at all.
Is it any wonder that all you can do is laugh?
